When and where we meet

The Grange

Unity Lodge meets in the evening at The Grange, Derby Freemasons’ Hall, 457 Burton Road, Littleover, Derby DE23 6XX.

Meeting dates, visiting arrangements and dining information can be provided directly by the Lodge Secretary where appropriate.

What do we do in meetings?

Our meetings usually include the normal business of the Lodge, such as minutes, correspondence, charity matters and arrangements for future meetings.

We may also take part in traditional Masonic ceremonies. These ceremonies use symbolism and shared ritual to encourage reflection on friendship, integrity, charity and self-improvement.

After the formal meeting, members and visitors normally dine together at the Festive Board. This is an important social part of the evening and gives Brethren time to enjoy good company in a relaxed setting.

Politics and religion are not discussed in Lodge, which helps keep our meetings friendly, respectful and welcoming.
